Eligibility

Career Change is open to working professionals from any background, with a few conditions so the program actually delivers for you.

    Minimum 5 hours per week for 6 months. Less than that and the capstone never gets shipped.
  • 02
    A real reason to pivot. Career Change is hard work; it pays off if you actually want the new field.
  • 03
    Working English or French for mentor sessions, partner briefs, and the coaching layer.
  • 04
    Stable internet and a working laptop for daily project work and weekly mentor sessions.
RECRUITMENT PATHWAY ELIGIBILITY
Pathway access requires a readiness score of 80 or higher, all five projects shipped with partner verification, a delivered capstone, and good standing in the program.

Career Change, the honest answers.

Can I really change careers in 6 months while keeping my current job?
Yes, that is exactly who Career Change is designed for. The five hour weekly minimum is set with full time work in mind. Most Shapers spend eight to ten hours a week, mostly evenings and weekends. Some take a sabbatical for the last month to push the capstone harder; most do not need to.
Will I be ready to apply for jobs at the end?
If you complete the program seriously: yes. You will have five shipped company projects, a capstone, a verified profile, a polished portfolio, mock interviews under your belt, and access to the recruitment pathway if you meet the eligibility criteria. We do not promise hiring outcomes we do not control, but the preparation is the most thorough we offer.
What if I am between jobs or unemployed?
That works too. Many Career Change Shapers are between roles or have just taken a break. The program does not require you to be employed during it. If anything, more available time accelerates the second half.
Can I pick any specialization?
We currently support Frontend, Fullstack, Product Design, and Data & Analytics. Other specializations are added based on demand and partner needs. During your application, you declare your target, and the assessment confirms it makes sense for your background.
What is the capstone exactly?
The capstone is a two month real project with a partner company, scoped to be your most ambitious piece of work. You own it end to end: discovery, scope, build, presentation, stakeholder communication. It is the work that anchors your verified profile and the strongest signal to companies in the pathway.
Is there a guarantee I will find a job in my new field?
No, and any program that gives you one is lying. What we guarantee: the structure, the projects, the mentors, the coaching, the verified profile, and the pathway access if you meet criteria. The hiring decision is the company's, and the market matters too. We have built the most credible bridge we can.
Can I pause the program if life happens?
Yes. We can pause for up to two months without penalty. Beyond that, we resume you in the next cohort. The capstone has a stricter timeline because partners are involved, but everything before that has flexibility.
