Eligibility

Advanced is open to anyone who can hold the rhythm. The conditions exist so you actually finish and benefit from it.

    Minimum 5 hours per week for 3 months. The projects are real, the deadlines are real.
  • 02
    Foundation level or equivalent. If you have not done Foundation, our assessment will confirm your level.
  • 03
    Working English or French for mentor sessions and partner briefs.
  • 04
    Stable internet and a working laptop for daily project work and weekly mentor sessions.
RECRUITMENT PATHWAY ELIGIBILITY
Pathway access requires a readiness score of 80 or higher, three completed projects with partner verification, and good standing in the program.

Advanced, the honest answers.

Is 5 hours per week enough for real company projects?
Five hours is the floor. Realistically, most Advanced Shapers spend eight to twelve hours a week, especially in the second and third month. The five hour minimum is what keeps the rhythm and the deadlines workable; partner companies expect timely output.
Are the company projects paid?
No. Advanced projects are part of the program, not freelance contracts. Partner companies provide briefs, review the work, and assess you. The compensation, when it comes, is the recruitment pathway, the verified profile, and the chance to be hired by one of them.
What guarantees you will get me a job?
None. The recruitment pathway is a real pipeline with warm introductions to companies actively hiring in your specialization, but the hiring decision is theirs. We do not promise outcomes we do not control. What we do promise: three shipped projects, a verified profile, and access to the partner network if you meet the criteria.
Can I choose my specialization?
Yes. You declare your preferred specialization in your application, and we confirm it during the practical assessment. If your level does not match the specialization yet, we will tell you and suggest a path that does.
What if I cannot finish a project on time?
Your mentor will help you scope and replan. Real teams miss deadlines too. What matters is how you communicate, what you protect, and what you learn. Repeated misses without communication will affect your standing in the program.
Can I do Advanced while working full time?
Yes, that is exactly what self paced is for. Most of our Advanced Shapers are working full time or in their final year of university. The five hour minimum is set with that in mind.
What happens if I do not reach a readiness score of 80?
You still finish the program with three shipped projects and a verified profile. You just do not enter the recruitment pathway in this cohort. Your mentor will tell you exactly what is missing, and you can re enter the pathway later by finishing additional work.
